Sliders control size of shader rates regions. Entire screen can be set to any one of the three shading rates or a combination of two or three at preferred region sizes.
With the below level of detail and shader rates settings I get 900+ frames per second on a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU with a i5-6500 3.20GHz CPU at 1024x768 resolution:
